Watermark PDF
A word across every page,
read back before you save it
Stamps text such as DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL across the pages of a PDF — once in the middle, or repeated across the page. The stamped file is read again on this page to check the text is on every page you chose and on no other.

The document is stamped in this tab. The file and the text never leave your device, and nothing about either is stored.
If the mark has to be harder to take out
The stamp is text inside each page, so a PDF editor can delete it. Flattening the stamped file turns every page into a picture, and the mark with it.

Can someone remove the watermark?
Yes. The text is drawn into each page as ordinary page content, so anyone with a PDF editor can select it and delete it. A watermark marks a document; it does not lock it. Flattening the stamped file turns each page into a picture, which makes the mark harder to take out — and also makes the rest of the text unselectable.
Why is my text refused?
The stamp is written in Helvetica, a font every PDF reader already has, so nothing extra is added to the file. It covers Western European letters, the euro sign and common punctuation, but not Turkish ş, ğ or İ, Greek, Cyrillic or Chinese. The page names the characters it cannot write instead of stamping the text with letters missing.
Do bookmarks and form fields survive?
Yes. The stamp is added to the pages of the document you opened rather than to a copy rebuilt from them, so its bookmarks and fillable form fields are still there afterwards.
What happens to a signed PDF?
Stamping rewrites the file, so every signature in it will show the document as changed after signing. The page warns you before you stamp a signed document. Stamp first, then sign.
