Questions
What are WhatsApp’s sticker requirements?
WhatsApp’s own sticker guide says a static sticker must be exactly 512 × 512 pixels, in WebP, and no more than 100 KB. Its sample app checks that as 100 × 1024 bytes. This page writes exactly that shape and format and checks the file against that number.
Will it lower the quality to fit?
Only as far as it has to. It tries lossless WebP first, then quality 90, 80 and so on in steps of ten, and keeps the first file under the limit. The page names the quality it kept and what the step above it weighed.
Does it add the white outline WhatsApp stickers have?
No. WhatsApp recommends an 8 pixel white stroke around each sticker, but that is a drawing choice rather than a requirement, and this page does not change your picture. The tray icon a sticker pack also needs is a separate 96 × 96 file and is not made here.
