One image.
Three formats, and what each one costs.

Drop in a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG and get it back as PNG, JPEG and WebP at the same pixel size — with the byte size of each, measured on your file rather than on an average. Conversion runs on this page, using WebAssembly; the image never leaves your device.

QualityOne setting for JPEG and WebP, not one each. PNG is lossless and ignores it.

JPEG has no transparency, so anything see-through is flattened onto this colour. PNG and WebP keep theirs and ignore it.

Questions

Which of the three formats should I use?

Whichever comes out smallest without looking worse, and the page measures all three on your own file rather than quoting an average, because the answer changes with the picture. A flat illustration and a photograph of the same size rarely agree about it.

Does the file leave my device?

No. The conversion runs in your browser on a WebAssembly build of libvips, so the image is read, re-encoded and downloaded on your own machine. There is no upload request to watch for, and nothing to delete afterwards.
